Principal's Message

Student Drop-off/Pick-up - Student safety is our top priority. Please do not use the parking lot for student drop-off in the mornings or pick-up in the afternoons. The parking lot is to be used for school business only. Please do not double park or stop on the red curb at any time. Teachers are not allowed to send students from the gate to cars in the parking lot.

 

Drop-Off - I encourage families to use the drop off lane on Cambridge Street. Parents shall remain in the car and move up with the flow of traffic. Ms. Hollman, our Assistant Principal, will be out there to assist from 7:30-8:00 a.m. every morning. Students will walk to and enter through the cafeteria door.

 

Pick-Up - I encourage families to park and walk to the gate to pick their child up or decide on a meeting place for your child to walk to. Second graders are not allowed to walk outside the gate, so parents will need to pick them up at the gate. Students in Grades 3-5 may leave the gate area and walk to a designated spot to meet their ride (i.e., along Sequoia, Cambridge, or they can cross the street at the crosswalk to meet their ride on D Street).

 

Grades TK-1st - We ask for patience as teachers dismiss your students from their respective gates on Sequoia Dr. Our #1 goal is student safety. We ask that parents to not call their student to the gate. Please wait for your child to be released by the teacher on duty.
