At Rocky Hill, we SOAR to success...just like our mascot, the hawk! Our schoolwide behavior expectations for this year are outlined all over campus on bright, blue and yellow posters. Students can see them on buildings, in the cafeteria, and even on the playground!

One of our main focuses this year is improving behavior and providing more schoolwide incentives for good behavior. Each month, towards the end of the month, we will be having SOAR Day! Students who are able to participate in SOAR Day will have the opportunity to pick an activity with one of the teachers of their grade level and spend the last 30 minutes of the day having fun.
ALL students are eligible for SOAR day - it is not something that needs to be earned. However, SOAR day can be taken away with negative behaviors in and out of the classroom. These negative behaviors are categorized into "minors", behaviors that are handled in the classroom or by school staff without administrator intervention, and "majors", behaviors that are handled by administration. Minors and majors start over every month so all students are eligible every month.
